Pouring the Tea

'Pouring the Tea' is a linocut print soaked in coffee to give it a tea stained look. The original drawing was carved on battleship grey linoleum. From there, it is printed using etching ink onto quality paper and then framed. My style with my linocuts are a detailed realism, typically focused on the natural form and the world around us; beautiful things we pass up without truly noticing. Such as, how delicate the action of pouring tea is.
